Challenge & Background

While Thomson is a household name in Amazon France, with significant market share and brand awareness, the brand aims to expand into neighboring countries, including Amazon Germany, Spain, and Italy.

The brand needed a specialized partner to expand its presence on Amazon in Germany, Spain, and Italy while improving the efficiency of its ads.

 

 

How Did We Work Towards The Goal?

To build presence as a newcomer to these markets, we moved beyond basic sponsored listings. We deployed a Full-Funnel Advertising Strategy.

 

The Ad Mix

 

We utilized a strategic mix of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ad types.

Creative Differentiation (Video)

In markets where the brand was underexposed, ads with static images weren’t enough.

Continuous Optimization

 

We regularly tested targeting to identify high-performing keywords and utilized negative targeting.

November 2024 Vs. November 2025 Results

Amazon Germany
We increased the budget to capture existing demand while still trying to boost sales and increase brand awareness, and the results were exceptional.
 
• Ad Sales: +254%
• ROAS: +140%
The Win: We achieved this volume while lowering the CPC by 25%. By combining Video ads with regular keyword research & negative targeting, we found high-value traffic at a lower cost.

Amazon Italy
We fixed the cost-effectiveness issues from last year.
 
• Ad Sales: +9.78%
• Ad Spend: -63%
• The Win: 
We generated more sales with less than half the budget. By cutting inefficient spending, we improved ROAS by 225%.
 
Amazon Spain
We doubled Ad-Attributed sales without increasing the cost of traffic.
 
• Ad Sales: +101% (Doubled)
• ROAS: +96%
• The Win: Ad Spend increased by only 2.85%, yet sales attributed to ads doubled, indicating that our strategic approach drastically increased conversion rates without increasing the cost per click.
